CHRIST IN YOU
God is Great and He never created anything lesser than great, that is why He is the King of kings and the Lord of Lords. He is the Great God that make everyone who draw close to make great. Our God is a Mysterious God. He is so big that He seats upon the circle of the earth and He fills the whole heaven and the earth and at the same time, He is so mysterious that He can through His supernatural power dwells in His people. It is God in us that make us supernatural men and women in the kingdom of God. God has no desire for anyone who professes Him as the Lord but live far away from Him in heart.
When God created man, He put His Own Spirit in him, connecting him with Himself supernaturally and all his activities were guided and done by the power and the wisdom of God’s Spirit in him until man sinned and that great glory departed from man and man became void of God’s glory. The glory departed from man because he sinned against God and he became naked to the extent that he could feel it that he was naked.
And the eyes of them both were opened, and THEY KNEW THAT THEY WERE NAKED; and they sewed fig leaves together, and made themselves aprons. And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden. And the LORD God called unto Adam, and said unto him, Where art thou? And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself (Genesis 3:7-10).
This nakedness of Adam and Eve was not only physical but spiritual and inward, it’s the Spirit of God in them that departed immediately they sinned and they felt it to the outward life. The Holy Spirit clothed them from inside out initially and when He departed the moment they sinned, they found themselves naked and used fig leaves as make-up to cover their nakedness and emptiness. This is the reason why the Scriptures say, For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23).
There is nothing that give man dominion over the creatures of God more than the Holy Spirit of God in him. He is the Spirit of Truth, Life, Wisdom, understanding, might, knowledge, power, counsel, holiness and of the fear of God. It is the real Christ in man at the beginning, acting and living in man. But glory to God in the highest, the glory man lost in the Garden of Eden, the Lord Jesus Christ brought it back to man by crushing the head of the devil and released his captives, those who he took captives because of sin and keep in the quagmire of darkness and bondage, Christ came and release us sons and daughters of God as God fashioned us to be from the beginning.
The Lord Jesus Christ came and preached eternal life to men. Eternal life is the life of God in man. It is the restoration of the life of God men lost in the Garden of Eden. Eternal life is imparted into everyone that yield their lives in obedience to the Word of God. God gives His Holy Spirit to those who obey Him. When man disobeyed the Spirit departed and when man obeys, the Spirit is given. The Spirit is the life of God in Him. It is the very Life of Christ in us because the Holy Spirit proceeds from both the Father and the Son. Our believing in Christ bring the presence of His Spirit in us, which is the power of sonship in Christ Kingdom.
He came unto his own, and his own received him not. BUT AS MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, TO THEM GAVE HE POWER TO BECOME THE SONS OF GOD, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God (John 1:11-13).
It is the Holy Spirit of God in us that align us with the kingdom of God because we are born by the same Spirit into the Kingdom of God. The Holy Spirit is the power of the kingdom in us, doing and fulfilling the purpose and the desire of Christ in us as we walk in obedience to His Word. The real glory of man is God living in us, moving us to do all that are pleasing to the Lord. We cannot do any right with the power of the flesh because the flesh wasn’t acting in the beginning before the Spirit was put into him. The Spirit is the glory and power of the flesh.
Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints: To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; WHICH IS CHRIST IN YOU, THE HOPE OF GLORY (Colossians 1:26-27).
But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life (John 4:14).
In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive (John 7:37-39).
The life in the kingdom of Christ is the life of power and dominion, it is the life of glory of God, where His children manifest the dominion power He gave to man in the beginning, power to reign in life through Christ, power to do exploit for the kingdom of God, power to bind and to cast out devil that has previously bind us to sin and disobedience, power to take over all the kingdoms of the world the devil is previously occupying. It is the life of the glory of God fully restore to as many that believe in Christ Jesus.
We can with faith in our hearts ask for the indwelling of the well and river of living water, that will be springing up into everlasting life as we daily abide in the Lord. God has no interest in mouth professors who live their lives far away from Him but He put His Holy Spirit within us so that we can be partakers of His holiness and daily walk in His company in heartfelt fellowship. God espouse us into Himself so that we always have heart to heart fellowship with Him.
There is no room for powerlessness in the lives of the children of the kingdom except they refuse to believe in God’s provision and choose to be worldly instead of being godly and heavenly. Let us abide in His Word, studying, meditating and living daily, our life, home, churches, and nations will become the very kingdom of God where God will come and put His throne.
If ye love me, keep my commandments. And I will pray the Father, and HE SHALL GIVE YOU ANOTHER COMFORTER, THAT HE MAY ABIDE WITH YOU FOR EVER; EVEN THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; FOR HE DWELLETH WITH YOU, AND SHALL BE IN YOU. I WILL NOT LEAVE YOU COMFORTLESS: I WILL COME TO YOU. Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also. AT THAT DAY YE SHALL KNOW THAT I AM IN MY FATHER, AND YE IN ME, AND I IN YOU. He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world? Jesus answered and said unto him, IF A MAN LOVE ME, HE WILL KEEP MY WORDS: AND MY FATHER WILL LOVE HIM, AND WE WILL COME UNTO HIM, AND MAKE OUR ABODE WITH HIM (John 14:15-23).
There is no alternative route to the heart of the Triune God than what the King of the kingdom has stated here. Our loving obedience will attract the Almighty Presence of God into our lives and churches and we will live in constant revival and refreshment. Yes, it is the Almighty Christ in us the hope glory both here and hereafter as we daily obey Him.
Father give me grace to lovingly obey you in my daily life in the precious name of Jesus. Father power and grace to obey your Word and fellowship with You uncontrollably, give me in the precious name of Jesus. Amen .
